This is a beretta .40 caliber Cougar that I keep under the counter. Beretta built this one with a rotating barrel to absorb recoil. It works. Target reacquisition is instant. The .40 S&W cartridge is classed between the 9 mm and .45 acp. I keep this weapon ball high under the counter. It is capable of shooting through the counter. A robbery armed suspect would be qualified to sing in boy's choir after this weapon is fired.
