Certified Letters. They got them and you can prove it. I try not to think ill of Mike for not returning any calls. I am pretty sure that he is adept at dodging dissatisfied customers and phone conversations really don't mean any thing anyway. So I sent him a certified
letter. It was pleasant and the the point. I simply asked
Mike if advertising , "Expert computer technicians" and not
having any around was fraud, in his opinion.
You are right. Mike doesn't take calls and he doesn't respond to certified mail either. Who can blame him. When you get up to titles like, General Manager," in an Eight Billion dollar a year corporation you have more important things to think about than your customers. People tend to strap on a little more arrogance with a larger pay check. Human nature, easy to figure. I wrote Frank Kelly a letter. Frank is the Attorney General in the state of Michigan. He tries hard to protect consumers on a limited budget. I also sent a copy of the letter to the local news media. Nothing like a little publicity to get some action. Right away I hear back from Myra Denin. She is an attorney who works for Best Buy in their Customer Relations Department. Imagine that, A Customer Relations Department staffed by a pack of attorneys. Most people are put off by attorneys. It is rare to be in contact with an attorney and not be in some kind of trouble or another. Do you suppose Best Buy consciously uses this American phobia? Myra is in a big bustin' hurry
to get this cleared up before she hears from Frank Kelly.
Isn't it just like a lawyer to have you fill out a form
before you can play? The second letter is a classic.
Myra admits no wrong doing on Best Buy's part. |
